Marsabit is a town in northern Kenya, known for its unique landscapes and cultural heritage. It sits on a volcanic mountain and is home to diverse ethnic groups like the Rendille and Borana. Marsabit National Park showcases wildlife like elephants and leopards. The town is a hub for trade and traditional crafts.

It is home of an endemic chameleon species, described in 1991 by Colin Tilbury: Trioceros marsabitensis.
