The Painted Ceilings of Khiva

Sotuated in the Kyzyl-Kum desert, with an area with almost no stones, the floor was always a bit dirty: full of dust, sand or even mud after the rains... And, people had to look underneath their shoes not to get dirty or injured on the narrow and bumpy streets...
