Kinyongia vanheygeni

Kinyongia vanheygeni, Udzungwa Mts., Tanzania Kinyongia vanheygeni, the Poroto Strange-Horned chameleon or Van Heygen's chameleon was named after my friend, Belgian herpetologist Emmanuel van Heygen, who took the first pictures of it in the wild. It is native to highland forests in the Rungwe, Udzungwa and Poroto Mountains in Tanzania and Malawi.
