Chamaeleo gracilis

Chamaeleo gracilis is a species of chameleon found in eastern and southern Africa, particularly in countries like Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, and Zambia. Known for its slender body and distinct coloration, Chamaeleo gracilis inhabits a variety of habitats including savannas, woodlands, and even urban areas.

This species is often mislabelled as "graceful chameleon", due to superficial similarity of the word gracilis with "graceful" in English. However, the name gracilis means "slender" in Latin, so, Slender Chameleon is the proper name.
